DLR-DAAD Research Fellowship 

Nr. 735: Coherent Processing and Removal of Multipath Signatures in Multistatic SAR 

  

What to expect:

The work will be based on the development of algorithms for the simulation and processing of multipath signatures in the context of multistatic SAR. Further elements of the topic is listed below:

  • literature review on SAR remote sensing and formation flying
  • development of representative simulation frameworks
  • error analysis
  • development of suitable processing and data-based calibration techniques
  • derivation of suitable performance metrics for the developed algorithms
  • validation of the derived algorithms and performance expressions using representative data

What we expect from you:

Required Qualification:

  • MSc. student in electrical engineering
  • solid background in signal processing
  • solid programming skills (e.g., Python, C)
  • systematic approach and analytical thinking
