Nr. 736: Strategies for the Spacecraft Optimisation in a Small-platform-Low-frequency SAR System
What to expect:
In the suggested work, we are interested in analysing the driver elements of the implementation of a medium-resolution, low-frequency
SAR spacecraft to support sub-daily interferometric observations. The elements of interest for the exercise encompass items such as:
- first-order representative fuel, mass, and power budgets
- analysis and selection of suitable antenna technologies
- identification of candidate platforms
- accommodation of the antenna and instrument into tentative spacecraft
- constellation analyses and implications, accommodation of several spacecraft in candidate launchers

Required Qualification:
- MSc. student in aerospace engineering
- solid background in astrodynamics, mechanics and aerospace engineering
- programming skills (e.g., Python, C)
- systematic approach and analytical thinking
Advantageous Skills:
