Junior Professor Dietetics f/m/d

Your Tasks

  • You are actively involved in the further development of courses in the study programme Dietetics in terms of strategy and content
  • You take over tasks in teaching and research and are responsible for the design, preparation, implementation, and post-processing of courses
  • You supervise bachelor theses and carry out bachelor exams
  • You play a significant role in the degree programme’s operational design (application, guidance, admission, ongoing marketing measures and events, exam organisation, point of contact for students and stakeholders)
  • You contribute to research in collaboration with the institutes, write subject-relevant scientific publications, and are strategically and proactively involved in shaping knowledge transfer between science and practice
  • You acquire and supervise practice projects for the study programme

 

Your offer to us

  • Completed study programme in Dietetics or a comparable discipline (either “master” or “magister”)
  • Authorisation to practise the profession of Dietitian; additional certificates are an advantage
  • For a Junior Professorship, you need to have at least two of the three qualifications listed below:
    • At least 5 years of practical professional experience (national/international), including min. 3 years outside a higher education institution and preferably in the fields of endocrinology, gastroenterology, allergology, or consulting methodology
    • Teaching and research experience at the academic level
    • Completed doctorate/PhD or comparable qualification
  • Experience in the writing and assessment of scientific papers and theses as well as in the implementation of research projects (writing of proposals and execution)
  • Very good written and oral English language skills
  • Team spirit, organisation skills, communicative/didactic/media competence, openness for interdisciplinary collaboration
