Your tasks
- Creation of technical drawings using CATIA V5 (using assembly, part and shape design placement of components, routing of pipework)
- Preparation of construction plans and bills of materials
- Writing of documentation reports
- Selection and procurement of components
- Construction and setup of the fuel cell system (e.g. air supply and cooling system, system rack, etc.)
- Support during commissioning and integration tests of subsystems
- General support in daily research activities
Your profile
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 (especially part and shape design) and ability to create technical drawings
- Practical skills and technical comprehension; hands-on experience with prototyping or laboratory work is highly valued
- Solid knowledge of fuel cell systems, desirable in the aviation context
- Independent and proactive working style
- Creativity in solving technical challenges and detail-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working in a small, interdisciplinary team on challenging system-level tasks
- Proficient in English (mandatory) or German (optional)
- Able to work mostly from our office in Würselen (especially during the prototyping phase)
- Currently enrolled at a technical university/-of applied science (preferably a Master student in aviation, but the above-mentioned skills are more important)
