YUFE4Postdocs

Two competitive YUFE4Postdocs calls resulted in the appointment of 55 excellent international incoming postdoctoral researchers in the YUFE universities.

These YUFE4 postdocs will be trained to become future- proof researchers, building bridges between academia and society. The program is led by the University of Antwerp and provides an attractive training package featuring interactive in-person stakeholder engagement seminars and a variety of online joint transferrable skills training sessions.

YUFE4Postdocs are appointed for a three-year period and carry out their research training projects under the guidance of their chosen supervisor. They are conducting research linked to urban challenges and opportunities.

Additionally, all postdocs have selected a co-supervisor at another YUFE university, and they will collaborate together throughout the project, supported by an Intra-YUFE mobility. They will receive personalised supervision and career guidance by two supervisors (at the host and co-host university) with a Career Development Plan as an individual roadmap.

With stakeholder interaction and Open Science at the heart of the YUFE4Postdocs program, all postdocs will carry out their project in regular contact with one or more stakeholder organisations.
