The Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of Technische Universität Darmstadt invites applications for a position of a
Full Professorship (W3) Electrical Drive Systems
effective 01.10.2022 or later.
We are looking for an experienced scientist/researcher with excellent scientific credentials and international visibility in the following research areas:
The professorship should engage in interdisciplinary research collaboration with other groups in the department, within other departments and with research and industrial partners.
An excellent doctorate degree, pedagogical and didactic skills as well as appropriate professional experiences (habilitation or habilitation- equivalent achievements) are required. Applicants are expected to participate in academic teaching concerning Bachelor and Master courses (in German and English language).
The position is tenured with a remuneration package commensurate with experience and qualifications, following the German "W- Besoldung" and subject to negotiations between the applicant and the university directorate. The regulations for employment are specified under §§ 61 and 62 HHG (Hessisches Hochschulgesetz).
