Cleanroom Process Engineer - Plasma Etch (f/m/d)

YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop new and maintain/calibrate existing plasma etching processes for various material: Metals, III-V semiconductors, piezo thin films and dielectric layers
- Develop new and maintain/calibrate existing PECVD process: SiNx, SiO2, SiC, a-Si etc
- Perform characterization: SEM, AFM, Profilometry, Reflectometry, Ellipsometry and experimental data analysis
- Active participation in the design of experiments for new process definition
- Process flows definition, review and plasma processes integration
- Work hands-on with interdisciplinary teams (maintenance, facility, …)
- Documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), reports and cleanroom documentation
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor / Master / PhD in relevant Engineering field
- Several years of relevant working experience
- Solid understanding of plasma chemistry and material science
- Experience in MEMS fabrication is an advantage
- A good team player with effective communication skills
- Proficiency in English.
- German is a plus

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for employees in non-university research (Research CA) starting in occupational group E (E3 salary = EUR 3804, paid 14 times a year). For this position we offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your experience and qualifications, starting with a minimum salary of EUR 61.000 (annual, based on an All-in contract and bonus).

The Process engineer will work in ISO 5 cleanroom environment using state of the art micro-/ nanofabrication equipment and characterization tools in the field of Plasma etching and CVD.
