At the Institute for Propulsion Technology, the joint ONERA-DLR-AIRBUS flow solver CODA is to be extended for the simulation of novel aeroengine designs as part of a co-sponsored research position with Airbus. We are looking for a highly motivated team member to develop, test and validate numerical models for the accurate and efficient simulation of such configurations together with our partners.
You will examine the methods developed in pioneering applications and present your work to the research community at national and international conferences and in specialist journals. You will be part of the realization of DLR’s digital product design in the context of Europe’s next generation airframe and aeroengines. You will be working in an international team comprising more than 50 scientists from all over Europe, dealing with all aspects of aircraft and engine simulation in an interdisciplinary manner.
