The Center for Economic Psychology at the Department of Psychology of the University of Basel is searching for a postdoctoral researcher. The Center for Economic Psychology is directed by Prof. Dr. Jörg Rieskamp and is part of the growing Department of Psychology at the University of Basel, one of the leading research universities in Europe.
Your position
Researchers will become part of an international research group in an English-speaking environment. The required teaching may be conducted in German or English.
Your profile
The ideal candidate has a Ph.D. in psychology, cognitive science, decision neuroscience, behavioral economics, or a related field. Solid knowledge of cognitive and decision sciences research and corresponding research methods and an interest in applying these skills to understand the cognitive processes underlying human decision making are appreciated. Experience in cognitive/mathematical modeling, Bayesian statistics and corresponding programming skills (using R/Matlab) are desirable.

The salary will be very competitive and additional resources are available for funding experiments and conference travel.
