This position can start on 1.6.2024 (starting date has some flexibility and is to be agreed on with Prof. Delley)
A PhD position is opening in the Department of Chemistry within the Delley research group at the University of Basel (https://delley.chemie.unibas.ch/en/).
Your position
The PhD research project focuses on the controlled modification of inorganic materials for catalysis. The project includes the synthesis and modification of inorganic materials, and their application in heterogeneous catalysis.
Your profile
Candidates must be highly motivated, should recently have obtained a Master degree in chemistry or a related discipline, and bring a solid chemical background. Experience in experimental inorganic/organometallic synthesis, especially including the work under inert atmosphere, and experience in catalysis are preferred.
