ELLIS brings together leading scientists engaged in the research fields of machine learning and modern AI.
Supported by the Hector Foundation, the State of Baden-Württemberg, the Max Planck Society, and the University of Tübingen are initiating the establishment of a unique new research institute, the ELLIS Institute in Tübingen. The ELLIS Institute will attract the world’s best AI scientists and provide outstanding research opportunities to promote excellence in research and innovation. The ELLIS Institute will be embedded in the Cyber Valley ecosystem in the Stuttgart-Tübingen region, which attracts both research talents and founders, and will be closely linked to the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems and the University of Tübingen.
To help build the ELLIS Institute, we seek to hire a
You will work closely with scientists, other research coordinators, administrative staff, and IT to help achieve the scientific goals of the new institute. Salaries will be competitive and based on experience according to TVöD guidelines. This is a full-time position. An initial contract will be offered through December 31, 2023. The possibility of a perspective extension will exist at the future ELLIS Institute.
