Associate professorship in Work and Organizational Psychology
The Department of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences invites applications for a position as associate professor in work and organizational psychology to begin on 1 March 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Job description
The position is a permanent position involving research and research-based teaching. Teaching is to be performed in cooperation with colleagues in the section of work and organizational psychology. The successful candidate is expected to participate on a daily basis in the Department's day-to-day activities (lectures, seminars, workshops, etc.), to undertake supervision of students at Bachelor’s/Master’s level and PhD students as well as to contribute to the development of the Department’s study and learning environment. The successful candidate is furthermore expected to actively apply for external funding, to take on responsibility for research leadership, and to publish internationally. In addition, the successful candidate is expected to participate in the Department’s organizational and administrative tasks.
Your qualifications
The candidate must hold a master’s degree in psychology, or equivalent qualifications, and a PhD degree in psychology, or equivalent qualifications.
Applicants must possess research qualifications and teaching skills corresponding to those obtained after successful completion of a period of employment as an assistant professor, but equivalent academic qualifications may also be accepted.
As the successful candidate is expected to participate in all of the Department's main activities, including examination and administration, a non-Danish speaking candidate is required to acquire the necessary skills within a short period of time (maximum 2 years).
Permanent employment as associate professor at Aarhus BSS requires completion of the supervision course and also the course Go Online provided by Centre for Educational Development at Aarhus University. If you have not completed the courses before commencement of employment, continued employment will be conditional on completion of the courses within a five year period.
