In the offered master thesis, an appropriate 1D / 2D heat conduction model is to be implemented numerically efficiently in an existing Python environment. The Python environment has an interface to the flow solver DLR-TAU Code, which allows a coupling between TAU and the 1D / 2D heat model. After implementation, simulations are to be carried out for a 2D test case (Fig. 1 left) and then for a 3D test case (Fig. 1 right). The results will be analyzed and documented.
