The College of Dental Medicine at Columbia University is searching for full-time tenure track open-rank research faculty. Applicants in the following fields are encouraged:
Reporting to the Section Chair, successful candidates are expected to develop, sustain and lead an active, highly visible, externally funded research program with outstanding scholarship and to demonstrate excellence in teaching and mentoring students at all levels including those in our DDS/PhD program.
We will specifically look for demonstrated evidence of scholarly impact through publications and the potential to conduct pioneering research, obtain funding support and to collaborate, teach and mentor effectively. In addition to technical and scientific knowledge, the candidate of choice will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to perform meticulous record keeping, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and multi-disciplinary research setting.

Successful applicants should demonstrate a readiness and interest in leveraging these opportunities and demonstrate evidence of prior successful collaborative research.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in cancer biology, immunology, systems biology, bioengineering, computational biology or dental or medical degree with equivalent research experience.
