Description
A banner enterprise of the Tulane Department of Neurology is the Healthy Brain Aging Initiative (HBAI). This initiative includes a dedicated team of neurologists, neuropsychologists/psychometrists, advanced practice providers, social workers, and neuroscientists, aiming to promote healthy brain aging through its Center for Alzheimer’s Prevention, its Center for Memory Disorders, and its Center for Parkinson’s Disease. Through their partnership with LCMC Health, Tulane and LSU Neurology faculty are collaborating to build the region’s only multi-institutional healthy brain aging initiative, and the largest and most comprehensive program in the Gulf South region.
This is a clinical and research position. It is estimated that the neuropsychologist will dedicate 60% effort to clinical practice and 40% effort to research, though the FTE distributions may vary slightly over time as needed. Roles and responsibilities include:
