Lecturer/Researcher 

Cleaner Production & Circular Economies Bachelors Programme Full-time 40h | Wieselburg Campus

Your areas of responsibility 

  • Conception and implementation of materials & production technology courses: wood and composite materials and biorefinery assignments / alternative raw materials or recycling technology and alternative raw materials. 
  • Supervision of academic papers (Bachelor/Master) 
  • Publication activities and/or acquisition of third-party funding in the research field "Cascadic use of renewable raw materials". 
  • Content-related support to the head of programme in quality assurance activities 
  • Collaboration in student events as well as operative support for marketing activities (e.g. social media, information events for prospective students, on- and off-site advisory activities) 
  • Participation in the organisation and administration of courses and examinations


What we expect from you

  • Completed, relevant studies (diploma, master's degree) with specialisation in process engineering, chemical engineering, wood technology, environmental and climate protection technology, or material and raw material sciences; doctorate or doctoral project an advantage 
  • Professional experience in the technical field (process, manufacturing or recycling technology) desirable 
  • Experience in the development and implementation of research projects 
  • Teaching experience or lecturing at university as well as experience in supervising academic papers desirable 
  • Didactic aptitude and pedagogical skills as well as a high affinity for new teaching methods 
  • A high degree of willingness for further academic qualification 
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
