We are currently looking for a
Student assistant (m/f/d)
for the topic:
“Characterization of optical transmission properties of laser mirrors”
The candidate will perform transmission measurements using a state-of-the-art spectrophotometer to determine the precise transmission characteristics of a large variety of laser mirrors available in the research group ‘Center for Laser-Materials’ (ZLM) at the IKZ. These data will be implemented into an existing software and support the ZLM researchers in their choice of suitable mirrors for planned laser experiments.

The position is limited to the end of the summer semester 2024, an extension is planned depending on the availability of the candidate. We offer the possibility for Bachelor and Master thesis in related topics. The expected weekly working time is about 8 hours (to be negotiated, preferably one full day per week, other schemes are feasible). The salary is 13.00 € per hour.
