The newly funded SNF project “Investigating sunfilter-based redox perturbations and their impact on skin cancer formation” headed by Elisabeth Roider, MD, PhD, is currently seeking a laboratory technician to join our young and international team.
Your position
The candidate will be (a) conducting various experiments and procedures in a BSL2 lab setting (b) collaborating with a diverse and international team of scientists and researchers (c) taking an active role in the education and monitoring of students.
Your profile
The successful candidate will have a completed education as MTA/CTA or equivalent and should work with high precision, independently and flexibly. The position requires a high degree of autonomy and the capability of conducting independent research, making informed decisions, and driving the project forward without constant supervision. Experience in human cell culture, molecular biology and histology is expected. FELASA Level B (LTK1) training and experience in animal surgery techniques are desirable. The candidate possesses excellent interpersonal skills as well as strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities. Experience in computer-based data handling and analysis (Excel, GraphPad Prism) is desirable. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is expected.
