Do you want to contribute to an efficient and environmentally friendly energy supply?
The DLR Institute of Future Fuels is investigating sustainable processes – in particular solar high-temperature processes – for the production of chemicals and fuels. In most cases, these are multi-stage thermochemical processes in which specially developed reaction materials and qualified construction materials are used.
Particularly promising are sulphur-based processes, which are currently being investigated in several projects at the Institute and whose development is of great importance for Future Fuels. Key activities in this area include the design and construction of solar-chemical test and pilot plants, as well as their installation and testing in our laboratories and large-scale facilities.
Together with colleagues at the Institute, you will be actively involved in the development and implementation of processes. In national and international projects, you will independently carry out scientific development work in close cooperation with internal and external partners. Your tasks will include the preparation, acquisition and management of new projects as well as the supervision of students.
Look forward to a fulfilling job with an employer who appreciates your commitment and supports your personal and professional development. Our unique infrastructure offers you a working environment in which you have unparalleled scope to develop your creative ideas and accomplish your professional objectives. Our human resources policy places great value on a healthy family and work-life-balance as well as equal opportunities for persons of all genders (f/m/x).Individuals with disabilities will be given preferential consideration in the event their qualifications are equivalent to those of other candidates.
